Co-Owner – who can edit, delete, see run history and add or delete others.User – which provides the ability for another user to run the Desktop flow.The main aim to create Microsoft Power Automate (earlier known as Microsoft Flow) was to allow both coders and non-coders to automate repetitive tasks that follow a sequential rule-based flow. ![]() There are two different roles that can be assigned to a user who the Desktop flow has been shared with: Microsoft Power Automate is a very simple drag-and-drop workflow-based automation software created by Microsoft to automate manual and repetitive tasks. From there, we can click on the ellipses (…) and then click on Share. When we navigate to the Power Automate portal and then click on My flows and then Desktop flows, we will find all our Desktop flows available.Let’s take a look at how this feature works: By using Solutions and the sharing capabilities in Cloud flows and now Desktop flows, teams can approach a business problem with parallel development activities. This allows for team development as organizations built out their RPA solutions.Ĭloud flows have supported sharing for quite some time, however this feature was absent in Power Automate Desktop until the GA release in December 2020. Microsoft has recently released a feature that allows makers to share their Desktop flows with other users in their organization.
